ARTS FISHING CLUB
Arts Fishing Club is a Nashville-based indie-folk band known for their energetic live performances and heartfelt lyricism. Led by Christopher Kessenich, the band blends elements of rock, folk, and indie music, often compared to bands like Mt. Joy and Wilderado. Their music captures a sense of adventure and camaraderie, reflecting themes of love, life, and the journey of chasing dreams. Their 2023 album Rothko Sky features songs like “Foster Falls” and “Arizona,” which explore emotional landscapes with evocative storytelling and vibrant instrumentation.
The band’s name is a tribute to Kessenich’s grandfathers and symbolizes perseverance and the joy of the journey rather than the end result—a philosophy that ties into the band’s approach to both music and life.

At the center of it all is Chef Russ, whose approach to barbecue is both disciplined and deeply creative. With a background rooted in craftsmanship and a relentless focus on quality, Chef Russ treats each cut of meat with intention—from sourcing and seasoning to the exacting control of fire and time. The result is barbecue that is not only rich and soulful, but polished, layered, and unmistakably refined.
Signature offerings feature meticulously smoked brisket, heritage pork, and thoughtfully composed sides that elevate the entire plate. Each element is designed to complement the others—balancing smoke, texture, and flavor in a way that feels both familiar and unexpected.
Steel Belly BBQ is a curated dining experience featuring hardwood smoked meats with every detail reflecting a commitment to excellence, hospitality, and the art of live-fire cooking.
Chef Russ & team will be setting up shop at 335, bringing what Chef Mangless claims to be “The Best BBQ In The Mid-West” to downtown Green Bay with a rotating seasonal menu highlighting the spring bounty of WI.
